"Congress Party’s position, reiterated yesterday, that full Statehood must be restored to J&K should clear any doubt or ambiguity


What was made under the Constitution cannot be unmade by an Act of Parliament misinterpreting and misusing the provisions of the Constitution.


Please remember that the dismembering of J&K has been challenged in the Supreme Court and the cases are pending for nearly 2 years.


In the monsoon session, Parliament should repeal the offending laws and restore the status quo ante in J&K


That is the only way to draw the starting line for a political resolution of the Kashmir issue.


J&K was a ‘state’ that signed an Instrument of Accession and acceded to India. It must enjoy that status forever. J&K is not a piece of ‘real estate’.


J&K is ‘people’. Their rights and wishes must be respected".

 अभी थोड़ी देर पहले अभिसार शर्मा के शो की एक क्लिप देख रहा था। जिसमें अभिसार शर्मा कह रहा था। "असदउद्दीन ओवैसी की पार्टी यूपी में 100 सीटों पर चुनाव लड़ने का ऐलान की है, इतनी सीटों पर AIMIM चुनाव कैसे लड़ रही है, ओवैसी की पार्टी की फंडिंग कौन कर रहा है इसकी जांच होनी चाहिए, AIMIM के चुनाव लड़ने से भाजपा आ जायेगी, 2017 में यूपी में बीजेपी की जीत की वजह भी असदउद्दीन ओवैसी ही थे, बला बला बला। ये वो पत्रकार है जिनमें लोगों को ख़ासकर मुसलमानों को सबसे ज़्यादा सेक्युलरिज़्म और निष्पक्षता दिखती है। मुझे कभी ये पसंद नही रहे या ये कहें कि मुझे इनपर यक़ीन नही हो पाता। एक बात याद रखिये वो लोग जिन मीडिया गिरोह पर "गोदी मीडिया" का लेवल लगाकर सरकार का पालतू होने की बात करते हैं वो खुद भी इससे बरी नहीं हैं। हर पत्रकार यहां "गोदी एंकर" है। हिन्दोस्तान में कोई ऐसा पत्रकार नहीं जो किसी ना किसी पार्टी का पक्ष ना लेता हो, वो रवीश हो, अभिसार हो, बरखा दत्त हो, आरफ़ा ख़ानम हो, द वायर हो, द क्विंट हो XYZ कोई भी हो। सब किसी ना किसी पार्टी/सरकार की गोदी में खेले हैं, खेलते हैं और आगे भी खेलते रहे...
